SimpliSafe: refund request
Equipment bought directly from SimpliSafe can be returned within 60 days of delivery for a full refund, and SimpliSafe pays return shipping. Equipment bought from a retailer goes back to that retailer.
What does this mean?
Grade A (high: almost everything comes from official pages read directly). 100% of 21 sources are the organization's own pages or government sites.
Collect
- order number
- delivery date
- proof of purchase
- return tracking number
- date the warehouse received the return
Steps
Check where you bought the equipment. Items from retail partners or other online sellers must be returned to that seller.
Within 60 days of delivery, contact SimpliSafe support with your order number and ask for a prepaid return label.
Ship the return with tracking. The refund goes to the original payment method, usually 5-7 business days after the warehouse receives it.
Cancel monitoring separately if you have it. The return policy does not say that returning equipment cancels the monitoring subscription.
If the refund does not arrive, call support with the tracking number, then dispute the charge with your card issuer.
