What does this mean?
Grade A (high: almost everything comes from official pages read directly). 100% of 51 sources are the organization's own pages or government sites; 1 value(s) were read from a search snippet or an archive copy.
Collect
- transfer request confirmation from the receiving broker
- Robinhood statements
- notices about restrictions or negative balances
Steps
Clear any account restriction or negative balance first, or the transfer may be delayed.
Ask the receiving brokerage to start the ACATS transfer. Robinhood does not start outbound transfers.
Sell or plan for assets that cannot move - crypto, futures, fractional shares and options that expire within 7 business days.
If the transfer stalls, ask Robinhood Support in writing for the reason and what it needs, and ask the receiving firm to check the status too.
If it is still blocked, file a complaint with FINRA.
