Cancel through your local branch or Orkin customer service, and stop AutoPay at least one day before the next due date. Orkin does not publish a notice period or cancellation fee online; check your service agreement.
What does this mean?
Grade A (high: almost everything comes from official pages read directly). 100% of 13 sources are the organization's own pages or government sites.
Collect
- service agreement
- date of the cancellation call with the representative's name
- written confirmation of cancellation
- AutoPay details
- bank or card statements
Steps
Read your signed service agreement for its term, renewal, cancellation notice and any early-cancellation charge. Orkin does not publish these terms online.
Call your local branch or the customer service number Orkin gives for cancellations. Ask for written confirmation of the cancellation date.
Ask Orkin to stop AutoPay at least one day before the next due date (the Terms of Use name 1-800-800-ORKIN for this). You can also tell your bank to stop the payments.
If Orkin charges you after cancellation, send a written dispute to the Terms of Use notice address, then dispute the charge with your bank or card issuer.
If it is still not resolved, complain to your state attorney general and the FTC.

- FTC Cooling-Off Rule for door-to-door sales (Rule Concerning Cooling-Off Period for Sales Made at Homes or at Certain Other Locations)16 CFR Part 429
A buyer may cancel a covered door-to-door sale (made at the buyer's home, workplace or dormitory, or at a seller's temporary location such as a hotel room, convention center, fairground or restaurant) until midnight of the third business day after the sale, for any reason. The seller must tell the buyer about this right orally and in writing, give two cancellation forms, and refund all payments within 10 business days of a valid cancellation. Home security systems, alarm monitoring and pest control sold at the door are common examples. State laws may give more rights.
