Dropbox: charged after a free trial
A Dropbox free trial converts to a paid plan if not cancelled before it ends. Cancel under Manage account > Cancel trial, or in the app store for mobile sign-ups.
What does this mean?
Grade A (high: almost everything comes from official pages read directly). 100% of 28 sources are the organization's own pages or government sites.
Collect
- trial sign-up date
- trial cancellation confirmation email
- the charge
Steps
Before the trial ends, sign in, open Manage account, click Cancel trial, give a reason and confirm.
If you started the trial on a phone, cancel it in the app store or device settings.
If you cancelled before the trial ended but were still charged, contact Dropbox support with the confirmation email.
If the trial converted and you do not want the plan, cancel now to stop future charges; the change takes effect at the end of the billing cycle.
