  1. Customer service

  2. Written complaint

  3. Card or bank dispute

Fair Credit Billing Act billing-error and purchase-dispute rights (Regulation Z)

Electronic Fund Transfer Act error resolution and unauthorized-transfer liability (Regulation E)

Card dispute for charges after a cancellation.

  4. Federal regulator

  5. State agency

Your state’s attorney general. Find it in the list of state agencies (also as JSON: states/<code>.json, for example states/ny.json).

Known blockers

  • Online cancellation, pause and billing details need the account holder's Sling sign-in.
  • Sling's Help Center and Terms of Use render only in a browser; a support phone number and chat hours could not be verified.
  • Sling's pages checked here do not say how to cancel a subscription billed by an app store or device platform.

Verification notes

Sling TV is a live TV streaming service. EchoStar's website (checked 2026-10-13) describes EchoStar as "the parent company of DISH Network, Boost Mobile, Sling TV, and Hughes Network Systems"; DISH Network has a separate entry (dish-network). Sling's Help Center articles and Terms of Use (https://www.sling.com/offer-details/disclaimers/terms-of-use) render only in a browser, so on 2026-10-13 only their headings could be read: the Terms of Use, the help-article answers, the support phone number and chat hours were not checked. Values here come from Sling's home page, checkout billing page, offer details and account page.
