Verification notes

Google Payment Corp. (GPC) provides the Google Pay Balance and Balance in Google Wallet services under the Google Payments Terms of Service (last modified July 22, 2026). Cards stored in Google Wallet stay with their issuing bank: Google cannot issue refunds for third-party merchants, so those disputes go to the merchant and then the card issuer. On June 22, 2026 the virtual Google Pay Balance Card was removed as a payment method; the Google Pay balance itself remains accessible at wallet.google.com.
