Crypto.com: fraud or scam
Report the scam in chat at once, report to law enforcement and the FTC, and expect crypto sent to a scammer to be hard to recover.
What does this mean?
Grade B (good: mostly official pages; check the flagged values before relying on them). 100% of 5 sources are the organization's own pages or government sites; only 5 sourced values, so the entry is thin.
Collect
- transaction IDs and wallet addresses
- screenshots of the scammer's messages
- police or FTC report number
Steps
Report the scam to Crypto.com Customer Support through chat.
Report it to local law enforcement. Crypto.com says it works with any agency that contacts it.
Report it to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
If Crypto.com does not respond, file with the CFPB.
