  • Spectrum Residential General Terms and Conditions of Service (Cox's customer service agreement now redirects here)

Escalation path

Go up one step at a time. Keep the reference numbers and dates from each contact.

  2. Retention team

  3. Written complaint

  5. State agency

Your state’s utility commission. Find it in the list of state agencies (also as JSON: states/<code>.json, for example states/ny.json).

Known blockers

  • cox.com pages render only the title "Cox is now Spectrum"; Cox support and policy URLs redirect to spectrum.com, which times out for automated fetch.

Verification notes

Cox Communications combined with Charter in August 2026 and now operates as Spectrum ("Cox is now Spectrum" on cox.com; newsroom.cox.com redirects to corporate.charter.com/newsroom). The combined parent will take the name Cox Communications within a year but keep the Spectrum brand. Use charter-spectrum for current channels once confirmed.
